The company started its business in 1974 by marketing supermarket and kitchen supplies for a group of well-reputed international companies. Meeting the changing needs and customer demands, the company decided in 1986 to expand its business and established a modern facility for manufacturing display shelving units, display refrigerated cabinets, and cold stores paneling. In 1988, another production line was launched for the manufacturing of catering equipment for central kitchens, and stainless steel fabrications, including custom built designs to fulfill special clients needs. As a result of ABDIN continuous success and expansion, the production plant was moved to a new larger location in 1996. Remarkable developments, such as the use of CNC machines and other sophisticated equipment, were introduced to the different production lines, all to improve the quality and to guarantee accurate results at all times. Recognizing the importance of establishing a good quality system, ABDIN made the commitment to implement the standard ISO 9001 quality management system into its operations. The company achieved the certificate in 1998. Since that time all our procedures are formalized, right through from purchasing to delivery and from new ideas to new products. |
